			Paulcus says : Is crime a real problem in St. Lucia? If it was, we as a people would have insisted that those in charge provide real corrective measures instead of dealing with the symptoms. Should the vendors in the small coolers be the ones targeted or should it be the distributors of crack/cocaine as it exist on the open market? The Inland Revenue department target those who are gainfully employed and pay their taxes; but how about those; who with no formal form of employment purchase properties at exorbitant cost that their tax payment history cannot justify. Expensive vehicles; expensive real estate and the list go on. What happens to Public Servants who try to protect the resources of the State from plunderers? Are we really interested in dealing with the issue of crime? Or; Is it just a charade? Is crime a real problem in St. Lucia?
